Rack Space
Imagineering can offer your business a wide range of rack space options, depending on your individual requirements.
Rack space allocations start at 1RU (the smallest available size) - this allows us to house a greater number of servers in each rack.
We prefer that our clients provide servers that are rack mountable (standard RU sizing, with mounting rails or 'rabbit ears'), as per the styles below. However, we also are happy to host servers that are standard desktop cases. Unfortunately we can not host tower cases at this time unless they can be mounted horizontally.
Network and Power Cabling
Typically we provide two 10Amp power outlets and one 100Mb/1Gb ethernet connection per 1RU server. Additional outlets are available on request.
1/4, 1/2 and Full Rack customers have dedicated banks of power outlets that can be used at the customers discretion.
Rack Sizes Available
Imagineering utilizes standard 1000mm deep 40RU racks for all customer equipment. Each rack has vertical mounting rails, which can be adjusted for customers with 1/4 rack of allocated space or more. Full depth and heavy duty shelves are also available for customers to assist with the co-location of legacy equipment, for an additional small fee.
Our philosophy is to house any sort of equipment you have, so the styles of racks we have are not consistent - there is a good chance that no matter the type of equipment you have, we've got somewhere to put it!
